I just flipped through my gallery from the days immediately before I got a pen tablet, moving forward. Once I got it, there's this trend of really drastically marked improvement between almost every picture. Apparently all I needed to start improving was a tool that motivates me to practice.
Not that "practice makes you get a lot better a lot faster" is news to anybody.
